We talked to some local residents to learn more about the river conditions and the problems they have been experiencing. From our discussion, we found that one of the main problems is the amount of waste accumulating in the river, especially during the rainy season. This often causes the previous existing turbine to malfunction or even get damaged.

So, our group came up with the idea of making a barrier that can filter or collect the waste. We also want to add a pH monitoring system to monitor the water quality.

Here is our report for day 2 finding local problem

The first design concept of trash barrier

The Improving Idea
So our improved idea is solar panel lamp that can be controlled by microcontroller

For day 5, we will be focusing on product making which is solar panels that will be used in Margamukti village. The solar panels will provide a sustainable source of electricity and help improve lighting in areas that have limited access to electricity. Through this activity, we hope to contribute a practical solution that can benefit the local community.

Updated RAB for 2nd day

Day 6, we are creating a poster and a guide for our solar lighting system

Day 7, we are installing our solar panel and lighting system in the village.
