The community, consisting mostly of farmers, laborers, and small business owners with limited household electricity capacity (450 VA), typically rests early in the evening. This routine, combined with severely inadequate public street lighting, has created critical blind spots in areas like Dusun 1, directly facilitating a rise in nighttime thefts of household essentials like 5kg LPG gas cylinders. While local leadership notes that residents urgently demand new streetlights to deter thieves, this security vulnerability is further worsened by poor environmental infrastructure, specifically clogged drainage systems that cause localized flooding and barren, unshaded village roads. Ultimately, the lack of basic infrastructure in Cileutik not only invites petty crime but also degrades the overall quality of life and safety of the community.
